A team of veterinary specialists, led by Professor Derek Knottenbelt, known as ‘Vets With Horsepower’ have been making expeditions on motorcycles since 2010. The have travelled into Europe and beyond in order to deliver lectures to vets wishing to update their knowledge. By doing this they have been able to raise money to support deserving charities overseas including some involved with equine welfare. We are delighted to welcome three of the team, including Derek, fresh back from their most recent expedition which reached the Arctic Circle.

Derek Knottenbelt who is renowned for the quality of his presentations as well as his expertise will bring colour to 'Common Skin Conditions In Horses’, which will include recent treatment options for equine melanoma’s, a common problem in grey horses.

Dr Jessica Kidd and Dr Sanne Wilmink will discuss 'Investigating Poor Performance in the Horse and some treatment options'

The evening will include a scrumptious buffet and a window into the teams latest expedition to the Arctic Circle. Plus an update on the charities it is supporting.

All proceeds to the charities supported byVets with Horsepower. We shall also be holding a raffle on the night.
