Full time / Part time Small Animal Vet
Seadown Veterinary Hospital

 20 May 2019

Want to work for a strong Independent practice where clinical decisions are not constrained by corporate ethos AND live in the beautiful New Forest National Park on the South Coast?

We are looking to recruit an experienced Small Animal vet to assist and compliment strengths already within the team. An interest in medicine / imaging or ophthalmology would be beneficial. Certificate study is well supported, and holders recognised. Flexible working patterns can be accommodated.

Seadown is part of the XL Vets group and is a large Small Animal Hospital with two branch surgeries and as a mixed practice has been providing high quality veterinary     care to the local area for 95 years. A 12 SA vet equivalent with 18 VNs provide a supportive family atmosphere with a good varied case load.

We have an in house Ophthalmology referral service and visiting Orthopaedic and Exotics consultants. CPD is actively encouraged and funded.
The position does require Out of Hours cover as part of our commitment to our loyal clients and there is 24/7 on-site VN support.  To give the greatest flexibility to our team the OOHs weeknight / weekend rota is shared between 8-10 vets in different combinations, with generous time off in lieu of OOHs work.

The on call rota contribution is negotiable for PT positions.

Salary commensurate with experience, OOHs bonus, RCVS / BSAVA fees, and 5 weeks holiday plus Bank Holidays on a pro-rata basis.

Applications via email to gs.moffat@seadownvets.co.uk, Or telephone Gillies Moffat / Kate McMorris on 02380 842237
