We left Kendal and made our way through the Lake District along the Western shore of Windermere and stopping for a re-fuel at Grasmere.
The rain held off and we stopped to take photos and appreciate the views, whilst recovering from some challenging climbs.
Heading north, we arrived at Gretna in good time and paused for some selfies by the ‘Welcome to Scotland’ sign! We all feel happy and relieved to have got this far.
