Fletchwood Alpacas have been registered with Seadown Veterinary Hospital since 2011. They have supported us in all aspects of the alpacas healthcare, from basic welfare to 24/7 monitoring of a new born Cria and his mum at their facility in Hythe. They have been at the end of the phone to answer questions or out in all weathers if we have had any issues. In 2016 we extended our stock to include Valais Blacknose Sheep and Seadown have given us all the support we need in working with this breed. Nothing has seemed too much trouble for any of the vets, or support staff and as Alpacas are classified as Exotics rather than Livestock, if an issue was not straightforward, research would follow to ensure the correct treatment was given. We would highly recommend Seadown Veterinary Group to anybody who is looking for a competent and friendly practice who’s main aim is to ensure the animals wellbeing”.

We are very lucky to have the support from all the Seadown Vets that come to visit us at our Kindergarten. They are all very lovely with the children and take so much care and attention over our animals. We have both chickens and pigs and sometimes they get a bit poorly and we feel out of our comfort zone, but they are always on hand to reassure us and give our animals the care and love they deserve. Thank you for all your help.
